Death Certificates

I am collecting death certificate information to update my cemetery records. It is amazing how many unmarked graves there are out there, not only in Floyd County, but all over. I am posting the Year, Name and Image # of the certificates that i have copied. I know this information will be a treasure for someone in the future. I know everyone is looking for something much older than the information found on a death certificate for a death that occurred between 1912 - 1939. Have you stopped to think, that some of these people are born before 1853-1896. Some have the parents names and the informant may be a child. with a little research, you have 3 generations on one piece of paper. How cool is that?
